Tucho’s new document contradicts John Paul II. Today, the Vatican’s Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, headed by the soft-porn author and Cardinal Víctor “Tucho” Fernández, has published Venite ad Me (“Come to Me”), a document on transmitting the Catholic faith. He disclaims “terminological precision and systematic treatment,” instead adopting a more discursive approach. Tucho creates a contrast between faith and its doctrinal formulations. Paragraph 29 of the document states: “The faith is not transmitted primarily as a body of doctrinal content or religious information, but as a form of ecclesial life into which the believer is gradually introduced.” Tucho’s document uses a “not primarily X, but Y” construction, whereas John Paul II explicitly warns against opposing doctrinal instruction and Christian life. Sisters Simone (88), Thérèse (90) and Maryvonne (90) are the last three religious of the congregation of Saint Joseph of the Apparition in Plouguenast-Langast, Brittany, France. On November 17, they will leave the village, ending 169 years of the congregation’s presence there. The sisters opened classrooms in 1871, a boarding school in 1900 and domestic education courses in 1925. They also cared for the sick and supported local families. I have had issues with Fr. Ripperger for years. Primarily the fact that he encounters demons and understands the diabolic, but he cannot see the demonic crisis in the church?? He goes out of his way to critique and criticize the SSPX and the REAL need for the consecrations. +Abp.
