New York Mayor Announces Confiscations of Private Property

Zohran Mamdani has announced that New York city authorities can attempt to confiscate private property if landlords fail to abide by the housing code.
On Friday the new New York Mayor said: “We want to make it clear to everyone in this city that no one is above the law. If you are a landlord violating the law, then this administration will hold you to account”.
InfoWars reports: Mamdani was speaking from Jackson Heights, where he announced a $2.1 million settlement with A&E Real Estate, which owns 14 buildings in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, housing 750 tenants.

Judge Napolitano - Judging Freedom Guest Max Blumenthal

Video is 3 days old. I didn't want to post this sort of thing anymore. But when you see people falling for lies it has to be done. For those who want the truth should listen to exactly what is going on. I am not asking anyone to believe anything. But the most intelligent thing a person can do for themselves is to listen to as many sources as possible.
" Then" make an intelligent decision.
I am leaving another video to listen to because I don't want to make too many posts about this sort of thing. Sorry, I don't want to waste my time on this. I said I would give a list to those I listen to and haven't. I will try harder to do it soon.

Saint Prisca (Priscilla) | Early Christian Martyr | Feast Day January 18 | Saint Story for Kids
In today’s Saint Story for Kids, we learn about Saint Prisca, also known as Priscilla, one of the earliest Christian martyrs of Rome. Saint Prisca lived during the early days of Christianity, when following Jesus was dangerous. Even as a young girl, she chose to remain faithful to Christ, trusting God completely despite persecution. Her courage and love for Jesus helped strengthen the early Christian community. In this episode, children will learn: Who Saint Prisca (Priscilla) was What it means to be a martyr Why faithfulness matters even when it is hard How young people can be brave for God Saint Prisca’s story gently teaches kids that age does not limit holiness — God can give strength and courage to anyone who trusts Him. Feast Day: January 18 Liturgical Colour: Red (Martyr) Perfect for families, classrooms, children’s liturgy, and young hearts learning about courage, faith, and standing …More

'If you wish to act as Catholics and as Americans worthy of the name, you must be clearly aware of your responsibility before God: to fight your daily battle to gain Heaven. A battle in which the Lord assures you of the spiritual weapons you need to win: living your life in the state of Grace, persevering in fervent prayer, receiving the Sacraments frequently, assisting at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, and being fruitful in good works'.

EXCLUSIVE: Archbishop Viganò's message to young American Catholics - LifeSite

Sat Jan 17, 2026 - 1:29 pm EST
Editor’s note: This is the transcript of Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò’s keynote address (delivered via video) at the REGINA Magazine Conference in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, January 17. Published with permission.
(
LifeSiteNews) — Dear Friends,
It is a joy for me to address all of you who have gathered in Tampa with personalities from the traditional Catholic world. Many of you are aware of the very serious institutional crisis we are experiencing, both in the civil and ecclesiastical spheres. The attack against citizens and the faithful originates from the highest authorities of the State and the Church, in a reversal of their proper purposes. Others among you are bewildered by these developments, unable to believe that those in authority could consciously act to destroy the institutions they preside over. There are some, especially among the so-called “moderates,” who still think that the actions of politicians and bishops are the result of inexperience …

Consistory Done Like Middle School - Leo XIV Is Responsible

Journalists Raymond Arroyo and Robert Royal, and canon lawyer and priest Gerald Murray of New York talked on January 16 about the consistory of January 7-8. A short sequence, video below.
Robert Royal commenting on Cardinal Grech’s contribution on synod:
I think you hear that and you say, what in God’s name can that possibly mean? This is the gobbledygook we’ve been listening to for years about synodality and all this confusion. I mean, one of the things I’ve heard from sources is that many of these cardinals have said, "Look, we’re just confused about this. We’re tired of going over the same things again and again." These pronouncements keep coming out.
When I read Cardinal Grech, I said to myself: This guy knows they haven’t gotten anything substantial done. You can try to preserve the illusion that there’s somehow a dynamic age of the Spirit underway, but it’s about to die.
Raymond Arroyo:
Well, he says there are good fruits here. He says fruits are blooming all over the place. …More

"Nostalgic" Proposals on Liturgy Not Helpful – Cardinal Spengler

Asked about the Mass in the Roman rite, Cardinal Jaime Spengler of Porto Alegre, Brazil, said that “the river doesn’t flow backwards.” He spoke with VidaNuevaDigital.com on January 16. The cardinal is president of the bishops’ conferences of Brazil and Latin America (CELAM).
His main statement echoes the historically weak ideas promoted by Cardinal Roche at the consistory on January 7-8.
Cardinal Spengler said, “Throughout history, the liturgy has undergone various reforms. The Second Vatican Council represents an enormous effort to recover fundamental elements of Catholic liturgical celebration. Nostalgic proposals do not help to promote what the Council identified as essential for the liturgy.”
Furthermore, Cardinal Spengler offered a pointless definition of the Eucharist: “Liturgy cannot be understood simply as an expression of religious practice; above all, it is a vigorous expression of a lived experience of faith, both personal and communal - an experience of encounter with …More

Leo XIV Must Get the Bishops' Appointments Right – Cardinal Burke

Leo XIV’s consistory in January did not involve a general debate, Cardinal Raymond Burke told Edward Pentin for his Substack.com-account on 16 January.
The consistory adopted a format closer to Francis’s synods, with discussion confined almost entirely to small groups:"All the discussion took place in the small group, and then in the general session there was simply a report from the secretaries."
Divide and Conquer
Burke added that the way the consistory was structured did not allow for so-called free interventions.
The two plenary sessions permitted only brief interventions: "Each intervention was limited to three minutes, so just 15 cardinals could speak in one session."
With more than 160 cardinals present, many were left unheard.
In the small groups, "the topics were assigned, and then there was a whole structure that had to be followed at the tables".
