youtube.com/watch?v=USzp7zLAVGE Luisa Piccarreta "The Little Daughter of the Divine Will" ". The satisfaction that blessed Jesus receives from the meditation of these Hours is so great, that He would want at least one copy of these meditations to be present and practiced in each city or town. In fact, it would happen, then, as if Jesus heard His own voice and His prayers being reproduced in those reparations, just as the ones He raised to His Father during the 24 hours of His sorrowful Passion. And if this were done in each town or city at least, by as many souls, Jesus seems to make me understand that Divine Justice would be placated in part, and in these sad times of torments and bloodshed, Its scourges would be stopped, in part, and as though dampened. I let you, reverend Father, make appeal to all; may you complete, in this way, the little work that my lovable Jesus had me do..." March 20th - Saint of the Day: Saint John of Nepomuk, Priest & Martyr What kind of man would rather be tortured and thrown into a river than betray what was sacred? Saint John of Nepomuk is one of the most powerful priest-martyrs in Catholic history. He is remembered as the saint of holy silence, the defender of the Church, and the priest linked forever to the seal of confession. His story leads from Bohemia to Prague, from royal pressure to martyrdom, and from the dark waters of the river to a legacy that still shines across the world. One of the wildest details? Catholic tradition says five stars appeared over the water after his death. Another unforgettable part of his story is that his witness became so strong that he is still honored as a protector against slander, a patron of confessors, and one of the most recognizable saints in all of Central Europe. His statues stand on bridges, near rivers, and in churches as a reminder that truth, reverence, and …More

Fatima 1916 “we saw the Angel again, who had in his left hand a Chalice over which was suspended a Host, from which some drops of Blood fell into the Chalice.” Leaving the Chalice and the Host suspended in the air, he prostrated himself down to the earth near the children and repeated three times this prayer: Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, I adore Thee profoundly, and I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of the same Son Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for all the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He Himself is offended. And by the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.”
Friday of the Fourth Week of Lent | The Rejected Wisdom of God The Catholic Wellspring Book of Wisdom 2,1a.12-22. The wicked said among themselves, thinking not aright: "Let us beset the just one, because he is obnoxious to us; he sets himself against our doings, Reproaches us for transgressions of the law and charges us with violations of our training. He professes to have knowledge of God and styles himself a child of the LORD. To us he is the censure of our thoughts; merely to see him is a hardship for us, Because his life is not like other men's, and different are his ways. He judges us debased; he holds aloof from our paths as from things impure. He calls blest the destiny of the just and boasts that God is his Father. Let us see whether his words be true; let us find out what will happen to him. For if the just one be the son of God, he will defend him and deliver him from the hand of his foes. With revilement and torture let us put him to the test that we may have proof of his …More

Amazon’s Hidden Church: Faith Against All Odds | Shalom World News The Church is found not only in great cathedrals, but also in the hidden corners of the world–deep within the Amazon Rainforest and in the dusty, sun-scorched villages of Africa. Here, a priest lifts the Eucharist beneath a canopy of trees, as rain falls and the earth breathes with life. The faithful gather–feet muddy, hearts steadfast–carrying the burdens of distance, poverty, and daily struggle. Yet their faith burns brighter than hardship. In the rhythm of rain and prayer, Christ is present. No walls, no grandeur–only devotion. In this fragile, beautiful moment, we are reminded: the Church lives wherever hearts seek God, even in the wilderness and the jungles ----------------
2nd book of Samuel 7,4-5a.12-14a.16. That night the LORD spoke to Nathan and said: "Go, tell my servant David, 'Thus says the LORD: Should you build me a house to dwell in? And when your time comes and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your heir after you, sprung from your loins, and I will make his kingdom firm. It is he who shall build a house for my name. And I will make his royal throne firm forever. I will be a father to him, and he shall be a son to me. And if he does wrong, I will correct him with the rod of men and with human chastisements; Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before me; your throne shall stand firm forever.'"
Today, Leo XIV has appointed Fr Alfonso María Bauer Ormazábal SDB as the new Bishop of Florida, Uruguay. Born in Montevideo in 1968 and ordained in 1996, Monsignor Bauer is a Salesian with experience in formation and youth ministry. He holds a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. He served as provincial of the Salesians in Uruguay from 2018 to 2024. Monsignor Bauer has published many short videos on social media in which he is dressed in civilian clothing (see the screenshots below). His themes align with Pope Francis's rhetoric about hospitality, love, listening, and closeness. The picture above, taken in February 2023, shows him seated while presiding over the Eucharist. He uses profane glass jugs and baskets. This Eucharist was held during a meeting of 80 "evangelizers" from Salesian institutes in Uruguay. They discussed "the new paradigm of integral ecology presented by Pope Francis in the apostolic exhortation Laudato Si." Another example …More
