In 2011 I was looking for a house and toured this place being sold by a gay couple (I reckon that was a selling feature) in a nearby town. It was beautiful, thoughtfully gone thru, decorated, arranged, colored; the whole bit. Very comfortable and functional. Almost vacation like... But it violated the 80/20 rule. Unlike the gauche, plastic-y garment in the photo, there was no room for improvement, no room for innovation, no room for the buyer, for personal taste. They had made the complete statement to which the buyer would have no need to have input. Only praise.
